Gallery Narcisse is a family run business established 21 years ago, owned and operated by the company founders and directors, John and Jill Pickering from our shop at Sanctuary Cove. Over the last two decades our business has evolved from trading in period antique furniture and accessories with Georgian regency, William IV, Victorian furnishings, as well as antique silver, glass, ceramics and a whole range of decorative pieces.

By the early 1990's we had started to specialise in 20th Century decorative art in paricular the art deco period of the 20's and 30's along with the arts and crafts movement, art nouveau and mid 20th Century design. Currently we buy and sell antique furniture and accessories from the 18th Century right through to the present day including selected modern design furnishings and decorative pieces sourced to complement our main theme of 20th Century design. The majority of our inventory dates from circa 1900 to 1950, however we still handle early period pieces along with contemporary design. The common theme that is important to us are the design qualities, workmanship, rarity and condition of all the objects we buy and sell. we do not put emphasis on an items age.

The one thing that has not differed is the personal service that is given to all of our clients whether we are buying, selling, consigning or valuing a single piece or an entire collection. We feel that a large part of our business is to provide a personal, professional and confidential service to all of our clients and we consider it paramount to develop and enjoy good relationships with our customers which makes our business more pleasurable.

The following images on our gallery page represents only a small portion of our current inventory and serves only as a sample of the current items we stock. We have a much larger inventory of hand selected items on display in our shop that is changing all the time as we sell and aquire more pieces.
